Membership Options and Costs

TBBHC has a variety of membership options across the junior and senior sections. Once you have joined Teamo the club's data management app, you will be assigned a membership fee by the Club Admin.

Membership fees are charged to cover the majority of the running costs as below (please note this list is not exhaustive):

• England Hockey Club Support Fee.
• Area and County Affiliation Fees.
• Competition Entries.
• Coaches.
• Pitches.
• Equipment – balls, bibs, cones, first aid kits etc.
• Public Liability Insurance.
• Administration costs - Teamo, DBS checks, volunteer safeguarding training
• England Hockey Player Registration Fee

Match fees are charged to cover:

• Umpires.
• Mileage.
• Post-match hospitality.

Each August the new season is set on Teamo and players are sent an email to opt in or out of joining for the following season. The new player registration fee will be charged against all opted in members accounts in September, players who have not opted in to the new season will be removed from playing teams and in cases where there are waiting lists to join, their places will be assigned to those waiting.   IT IS IMPORTANT ALL PLAYERS OPT IN OR OUT WHEN THEY RECEIVE THE NOTIFICATION ON TEAMO.

TBBHC are excited to announce that for any new club members who are 23 and over there will be a discounted membership rate of £16.50 (EH Player Reg Fee) and then £10.00 match fees for any games played.

** U14-U16 will also be charged a match fee for all senior games played

• AutoPay is Teamo’s new and efficient way to collect payments from your users. Invoices will be grouped together forming Statements and members are debited once a month, saving the club transaction fees.
• Every month users will be charged for what they accumulated through the month. This payment is taken on the same day every month. The total will be shown to users in a Monthly Statement, which they can access in their Payments Section.
• The Monthly Statement will include things like match fees, training fees and membership instalments.
• Clubs will set a limit on how much they will charge users per month, which will be the maximum amount of money.
• It is up to each individual whether they wish to activate AutoPay on their Teamo account.

TBBHC has a bursary fund for members who may find the cost of playing hockey a financial barrier. This fund is open to anyone to apply to however, you must meet certain criteria for your application to be considered by the Executive Committee.
