Under 14 Boys B vs Marlborough

Match report by Isaac Bell (Captain of the match)

First quarter:

We got a short corner and we missed it and then they scored 2. 2-0

Second quarter:

They were still controlling the game a bit but we were starting to focus a bit more and eventually Will scored 2-1

Third quarter :

We started to dominate and win back the play and we were going up a bit more and had lots of shots then we got a short corner a chance to equals but no the shot was a blocked still 2-1 we needed 2 more goals to win.

Forth quarter:

In the Forth quarter we all stared to work really hard to get the ball back and score bang goal a tap in for Zach 2-2. Yes! At this point we were all so tired and all we wanted was a win so I shouted “come on lads we have travelled an hour we can win this" so we took a few shots but we just couldn't get it last 3 minutes we got a short corner I was thinking we can score Zach injected the ball it was stopped by Arthur, B he passed it to me and I had a shot. It was going for the goal and it hit someone's stick and on to their body and the ball was going into the goal so it was a penalty flick. As I won it I was going to take it but I let Jude take it, so he stepped for the flick. He flicked it and the ball hit the goalkeeper stick and went in yes 3-2 and from then on we defended our hearts out and the whistle went we got our first win.
