In the derby match between City of Bath 2 and TBB Men's 6 at the University, it was the Buccs team that came out on top with a 2-1 win.
Despite intensive pressure from City in the first half, it was Buccs who took the lead when an aerial ball from Pellow down the line to debutant Ali Parks, was crossed from the left to the waiting Rowher who finished in style. Buccs' second came after a worldy save from keeper Newman allowed a quick break down the right which resulted in Bowman converting at the back post. Despite City being able to get one back at the end of the first half, Buccs controlled the rest of the game with excellent work from Purchase at the back and the midfield of Sweetman, Gustard, Greenhalgh and MacDonald. The City keeper had to make some outstanding saves to keep them in the game with Bowman and Young coming close to adding to the scoreline.
