Men 5th vs Chippenham 4

Men's 5 sweep aside Chippenham.

The men's 5s took all three points under the lights away against Chippenham 4s with a dominant performance. The visitors started well and created a number of early chances as they pressed high. The Chippenham keeper made a string of good saves to keep the scores level until just before the break when Olly Hessian scored from a penalty corner to give Buccs a one goal lead at half.

In the second half Buccs continiued to press hard and limited Chippenham to very few chances which were well dealt with by the excellent Max Farely in the goal. The pressure told as Hessian got his second from a well worked penalty corner which was quickly follwed by a good finish by Kelly. It was the young striker who got his second when a rasping pass from White found Kelly on the back post for him to deflect the ball past the keeper to make it 4-0. Despite going down to 10 men when Dan Hill was green carded for a tackle on the top of the D, further goals from Warwick and Bowman completed the rout.
