The Men’s 5s produced an excellent performance to secure a convincing 5–2 victory over North Wilts.
The Buccaneers made a strong start with a well converted flict from Ben Salmon and back post finsh by Tom Q, and went into half-time 2–1 ahead, setting the platform for a positive second half. North Wilts continued to compete, but the Buccs maintained their composure and control as the game progressed.
Thomas Q was in fine scoring form, finding the net twice, while Ben Salmon, Thomas Caine and Adam Sandey also got on the scoresheet to complete the five-goal haul.
The second half saw the Buccaneers extend their advantage, with some good attacking hockey and continued pressure eventually telling as they finished comfortable 5–2 winners.
There were also strong contributions across the team, with some fine saves for debutant keeper Olly Cory during the match.
