TBBHC Community Outreach Programme Success

Team Bath Buccaneers Hockey Club Community Outreach Programme is well into its second year and Mark Gunning, PE Led for the Palladian Trust has been quoted as saying, “This is a huge success, you are trailblazing the ways for other clubs in Bath to follow”.

Louise Stossich, our community coach, is passionate about sport and as a qualified hockey coach believe strongly in the opportunities TBBHC are offering children from a state school background. Louise is proving to be everything needed and has all the qualities, drive and determination to ensure this programme is a huge success.  Click on the link below to hear Louise in her own words.

• So far, the programme has given over 2294 school children the opportunity to be coached within their school’s curriculum or at clubs.
• The programme has been expanded due to demand to include school years 2-6.
• More schools want to come on board on top of the 11 currently in the programme.
• A Primary school taster day was held at the University of Bath, where the pupils had a great day out playing hockey.
